Celebrate May the 4th with these Star Wars Day recipes and ideas! Plus a FREE printable of Star Wars food labels you can use for your own galaxy party!
May 4th is considered Star Wars Day because of the pun on "May the 4th be with you." Fans love to celebrate with fun galaxy food. Below are a few ideas we use for our Star Wars parties.

You know the force is strong with this one! Use the fork signs are a fun way to display your eating utensils.
Water is served with Luke Skywater signs. Be ready for some guests to correct you, "It's Skywalker!"
This recipe for bbq pulled pork in the slow cooker is an easy one to toss together and allow your guests to assemble their own sliders.
We thought it was clever to rename our favorite 7 layer dip to "7 Leia Dip" in honor of the princess.
How about threading a few pieces of fruit onto skewers and calling them Obi-wan Kabob-ies? You can do this for any type of kabobs. Scroll below for the how-to.
We love donuts so needed to incorporate them into the theme. These donuts are simply store-bought donut holes.
Buy a bag of Tostitos Scoops! and call them Trooper Scoopers! Then cheese balls take on a whole new meaning, but I could also see these as Cheetos or Redhots if you want a candy to serve.
Last but not least are these cute Wookiee Cookies. You can make these with chocolate sugar cookie dough, or our favorite gingerbread cookie dough!
Find the FREE printable to these labels below!
May the Fourth be with you!! Enjoy!

Where did you find those Star Wars bowls that the chips and cheese balls are in? We are having a Star Wars birthday party next month.
Reply
Nikki Gladd says
Hi Emily, Those are big popcorn buckets we found at Walmart a few years ago. They came with a microwave bag of popcorn -- in the popcorn aisle. I do not believe they have them anymore. 🙁 I hope you have a FUN party!!

Hi! I love the cards you printed! I found the free ones from overthebigmoon.com, but they don't include the pork side one & I like your kabobs one better. Can you possibly share those? Or, did you find an editable template somewhere? My son's 10th birthday party is next weekend & he has requested a Star Wars theme. It looks like you had a great party!
Thanks for any help!

Nikki Gladd says
Hi Kimberlee! I am so sorry, I deleted the files I created. In fact, I literally JUST deleted them about 3 weeks ago when cleaning out my hard drive! I'm going to double check again, but I'm pretty sure I don't have them anymore.
